In the second area, use the barracks as cover and pick off enemies when you can. Otherwise you will have to use the combat knife to clear out enemies in the area before you can refill your ammo. If you find yourself out of ammo, quickly run to the ammo box when it is safe to do so. Look out into the distance when moving around to see and attack enemies long range, not doing so will get you killed by enemies off screen moving around bushes. If you are in a good position after firing, you can pick off each one as they come towards you.
Keep in mind when you fire, you will alert others in the area to come to your location.
Use the windows to oyur advantage and pick off enemies as they walk inside the building infront of you.
After traversing some ground, you come to an enemy camp site.
